Entertainment Synopsis

Overview:

If you CanCan join us, you Should Should!  Cabaret & Cabernet features a progression of five different shows punctuated by four courses of food and wine. The performance spaces include the beautiful Darden Auditorium, the Three Pillars Café, the Disney Dining Room, the Anheuser-Busch Beer and Wine Lab and the Rosen College Courtyard.  Guests are invited to stroll around the picturesque Rosen College campus for Broadway-inspired entertainment coupled by robust pairings of delectable food and wine.

Opening Performance:

The evening will be “kicked off” by a chorus line of high kicking can-can dancers from Orlando’s Columbus Center Dance Academy.

Intermission:

While wining and dining in the Courtyard, attendees will encounter flappers, mobsters and other character actors, ready to interact and set the mood.

Act One:

The Three Pillars Café will be transformed into a Speakeasy featuring a Mobster-style cabaret performance by professional dinner theatre entertainers, Dave Worker and Misty.

Act Two:

The Disney Dining Room will be transformed into the Moulin Rouge, featuring dueling pianists from BabyGrands piano bar in downtown Orlando.  Not only will they duel, but also engage the audience in an interactive atmosphere.

Act Three:

The Anheuser-Busch Beer and Wine Lab will feature an ensemble of seasoned Disney performers – some blasts from the Early Days – led by legend Ron Logan.  Attendees will enjoy show tunes, comedy and familiar sing-alongs.

Finale:

Just before the final “curtain,” guests will adjourn to the Rosen College courtyard for farewells and a performance of “Cabaret” from the movie Cabaret, sung from a balcony.
